We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Furniture Sales Associate / Design Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will combine strong sales ability with design expertise to help customers create beautiful, functional spaces that reflect their personal style. You will guide clients through the furniture selection process, provide design advice, and ensure an exceptional shopping experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

  • Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
  • Prospect and contact potential customers
  • Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
  • Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of the latest developments
  • Manage and distribute sales material to present to customers

Design Side – (training offered)

  • In-home visits

  • Specify materials and furnishings
  • Create a timeline for the interior design project and project costs

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, design, or other related fields
  • Familiarity with G-Suite is a plus
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Previous Furniture Sales or Interior Design experience is a plus

Earning Potential: Weekly base draw plus monthly commissions. The average annual earnings are between $45,000-$75,000. You have control of income. The more you put into it the more you will get out. So if you have a positive goal-oriented attitude, you can soar to the stars with uncapped earning potential.

Schedule: The Store is open Monday through Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday, 12 pm to 5 pm. You would work 5 days with 2 days off. Saturday is mandatory. Monday through Saturday schedule is 9:15 am to 5 pm, and Sunday is 11:30 am to 5 pm.

Upholstery and Leather Furniture Repair Technician

$21 – $25 an hour
 

The Furniture Repair Technician effectively and efficiently completes repair work on defective or damaged products while providing customers with superior service. Drives a company vehicle to customer’s homes to perform repairs and/or assess needed repairs. Works with the warehouse team to prep and repair home furnishing products. Uses their carpentry, upholstery, and color-matching skills to provide the best product to our customers.

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Able to troubleshoot and repair products quickly
  • Assumes responsibility for the timely and accurate repair of defective or damaged products
  • Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining professional working relations with customers by providing them with superior service resulting in customer satisfaction
  • Documents all problem and repair requirements accurately and completely
  • Inspect furniture for damages, defects, or wear and tear
  • Previous hands-on experience will include upholstery repair including structural/mechanism replacement
  • The process of furniture repair requires lifting, bending, kneeling, stooping, and moving furniture items to accommodate the repairs as necessary. Accordingly, the ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs is required
  • Repair furniture using appropriate tools, materials, and techniques to original vendor specifications
  • Upholster furniture using fabrics, padding, and stitching, replace mechanisms, and troubleshoot electronics (motors, switches, etc.)
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
  • Ability to match colors and textures
  • Perform leather repairs using patches, dyes, or fillers
  • Ability to do case good repairs a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a delivery team in safely loading, transporting, and setting up furniture in customer homes and businesses.
