A Peaceful Retreat

Interior designer, Leasa Erkiletian, worked to create this beautiful transitional coastal retreat in the Lakes of Mount Dora! After living in Naples for several years, our customer wanted an interpretation of coastal that translates in their Central Florida home. Clean lines, a soft color palette, and a mix of textures create a peaceful retreat for one very happy couple!

Once upon a Time two small business owners from Connecticut decided to buy a pre-retirement home in The Villages! The result is a beautifully designed comfortable home that was completely furnished at Babette’s. The addition of a few pieces from local antique markets gives this new home a lot of character and history. It makes it feel warm and welcoming to both new and old friends!

Leasa Erkiletian from our Leesburg location, enjoyed a fun collaboration with Jane Link, a retired art teacher, to help create her retirement home in Arlington Ridge. The vibrant fabric choice for the Flexsteel swivel chairs served as an inspiration piece to create this room. We love the mix of vibrant colors that pairs beautifully with Mid Century modern and coastal elements to create a sense of fun and Whimsey. The Palliser Northbrook sofa in bone colored leather provides a neutral backdrop that further pops the colors on the chairs and the artwork. The nesting cocktail tables introduce textures of metal and marble into the room and pair beautifully with the high impact shag rug. The multicolor abstract canvas painting is a beautiful focal point and conversation piece in the room. Jane also took advantage of the accessory discount and added a bamboo plant to fill in the corner and finish the room. Before Leasa Erkiletian joined Babette’s she worked with Renee Watson designing her open concept living space In my Village Cottage home. While it is a small space, Leasa wanted it to have a coastal color scheme without feeling too beachy. Renee’ helped Leasa to beautifully achieve this.

A happy customer shared their beautiful living room. Leasa Erkiletian helped create this beauty. This room looks amazing with the Palliser sofa, chair, ottoman. The other pieces that were chosen at Babette’s are the Bench Made live edge dining table, custom upholstered dining chairs, and hunt board in the dining room. The gorgeous Surya rug establishes a Santa Fe style That ties the rooms together and establishes color and overall theme. All of these items are displayed on our showroom.
