Sheila Blue
Senior Interior Designer
Sheila Blue, Senior Interior Designer, brings more than two decades of experience and a deep-rooted passion for design to Babette’s Furniture. Before entering the world of interiors, Sheila owned and operated a successful restaurant/catering business in Lake County alongside her husband for 20 years. During that time, she often served Harold Schwartz, the original developer of The Villages, who encouraged her to pursue her dream of a career in design.
She officially entered the design field in 2003, managing two local furniture stores in Clermont and Inverness. In 2005, Sheila joined the Villages-owned Southern Lifestyles Furniture as a sales associate and earned her Residential Interior Design Certification (RIDC) while working there.
Her expertise and eye for design soon led to a unique role as the rental setup specialist for Hometown Property Management—a position she continues to hold today, remaining a trusted referral for clients setting up investment properties.
When The Villages closed their furniture stores, Sheila transitioned to City Furniture, where she worked as a designer and sales associate for four years. There, she also launched a successful staging business that helped realtors sell homes quickly—often within the first month. She later brought that same energy and effectiveness to Babette’s Furniture, where she became part of the team in 2018. Though staging is no longer a service due to the pace of today’s real estate market, Sheila’s impact remains significant.
At Babette’s, Sheila has been an integral part of the Commercial Department, designing model homes and guest accommodations throughout the area. She also played a key role in developing the store’s thriving Furniture Package program.
Now with over 22 years in the design industry, Sheila is grateful for the loyal clients and business associates who continue to refer her. She looks forward to helping even more homeowners create beautiful, inviting spaces across the community.

Renée Watson
Interior Designer
Renée is a seasoned designer with over 40 years of experience, and for the past 8 years, she’s brought her talent and passion to Babette’s Furniture. A 1979 graduate of Bauder Design College in Miami, where she earned her Associate of Arts degree, Renée has been transforming homes with her signature style ever since.
With an intuitive eye for color, texture, and finish, she gracefully reimagines spaces, creating a smooth, layered blend that brings warmth and elegance to every room. Her artistry turns interiors into serene, welcoming sanctuaries—each one a reflection of thoughtful design and timeless comfort.
Renée’s design philosophy is centered on creating spaces that not only look beautiful but feel effortlessly livable. She works closely with each client to understand their lifestyle, needs, and aspirations—ensuring that every element, from furniture placement to accent choices, supports both form and function. Whether designing a cozy bungalow or a large-scale estate, Renée’s calm demeanor and keen attention to detail make the process seamless and enjoyable.

Lisa began her design career at just 20 years old as the owner of a DeVoe Paint and Decorating Center, where her passion for color and style quickly took root. For the past 2.5 years, she’s been bringing that same creative energy to Babette’s, transforming houses into personalized, welcoming homes.
Known for her thoughtful approach, Lisa carefully curates color palettes and selects textured, layered pieces that bring warmth and cohesion to every space. Her signature style creates rooms that feel effortlessly harmonious and beautifully lived in.

With a degree in Digital Media and Design and over a decade of experience as a freelance videographer, I’ve spent my career bringing stories to life through visual storytelling.
